Happy Earth Day!
What does Earth day mean to you? Does it inspire you to do something special for Mother Earth? Do you find a way to connect in a special way with the Earth today? Perhaps it makes you give it all a little bit more thought today, more than usual!?
Even a very small adjustment will make a difference. It is a fact that Earth is suffering greatly and we have been abusing our planet. Some people think “Oh what can I do, I am just one person..I won’t make a difference!” But I am here to tell you that “Yes you will and yes you are making a difference!”
I have for example begun to bring shopping bags when I go grocery shopping. You know, those bags made out of material, which they sell at most grocery stores now. This way I feel really good about myself when I do not need to use more plastic bags. Yes, there are days when I forget to bring them, this is when I promise myself to remind myself next time. And I do, because it matters to me and I know that 5 plastic bags saved every week add up to a mountain of bags every year. I have made a point to recycle for many, many years now. I have also for many years used earth friendly cleaning products. I have been connecting with Mother Earth in energetic ways, where I send love and healing into her. I thank her often. I have taught my daughter respect and conscious awareness of our Earth. When we take walks on the beach we always pick up garbage together.
So you see, there are many ways in which you can go about being apart of the solution. The more you become apart of the solution the greater you will feel and the more you will want to do. You do not have to make all the changes over night but step by step.
There will be no more life without our Earth. This is an awareness that should behoove us all to make positive changes and be proud of being apart of the solution.
